Social skills and abilities

Living together and point work with others in multicultural surroundings, in a position requiring communication, in situations postulating team work (for example in the fields of culture and sport) etc.

I have participated in several international projects, I am founder and to-date co-chairman – mainly as chief of international issues – of the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers.

  • I have been dealing directly with labour issues since 1990, I am taking part in the work of the ILO (International Labour Organization), I am a substitute member of the Governing Body since 1994
  • Since 1988 I have been every year the head of the Hungarian Employers Delegation at the yearly International Labour Conference of ILO, I have organised and lead the work of the delegation and have spoken as the Hungarian delegate at the plenary session of ILO.
  • I am a member of the National ILO Council since 1998.

Organisational skills and abilities

Co-ordinating and managing people, projects and cost plans; in the workplace, as voluntary work (for example in the fields of culture and sport) or at home, etc.

Organisational issues can be separated from co-operational and team building skills only with great difficulties, as meeting new challenges usually means teamwork for me.

  • In 1982 I have founded one of the first private business partnerships in Hungary (today it is called Ergonorg Ltd.), which has naturally undergone some changes during the past 22 years, however, it still exists, today successfully operating in the Ltd. form.
  • I have participated in founding the Hungarian Foundation for Company Development (1990), in developing its original concept and have been member of its Advisory Board for a certain period. I have also taken part in founding Career Foundation (1991) and have been its leader from the beginning; as a social activity I still act as Chairman of the Advisory Board.
  • In 1990 I have contributed to founding and developing the concept of SEED Company Development Foundation and as a social activity I am still a member of the Advisory Board of the SEED Foundation.
  • In 1990 I have participated in founding and developing the concept of VOSZ Entrepreneurial Foundation and up to the present I have been a member of its Advisory Board.
  • Since its foundation in 2002 I have been a member of the Advisory Board of the For the Excellence of the Craft of Project Management, which is the Hungarian examination centre of IPMA.

Artistic skills and abilities

Music, writing, fine arts, etc.

Once I was strongly connected to the film industry, thus I have been a founder of the Motion Picture Innovation Society and the Motion Picture Innovation Foundation, as well as being a consultant of the Balázs Béla Studio, etc. Presently I am only a member of the Film Club Association, I only pursue arts as receiver (it is my firm belief that the creative and performing character of teaching at a high level is close to artistic activities).

I have been a founder and editor of BOOM periodical, Cégvezetés periodical, and second editor-in-chief of Üzleti 7 weekly. Today I am editor of the recently founded scientific journal “Vállalkozás és innováció” (Enterprise and innovation).
